8Customer Orders
Customer Order Acceptances (OA). Each OA is one customer commitment with a schedule window (schdatefrom → schdateto) and one or more line-items in oadtl. This is the upstream driver — every downstream activity ultimately exists to fulfil an OA.
Raw Material Receipts
Raw material arriving from suppliers — recorded as Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs). Each receipt has supplier, RM code, weight, coil number, and test certificate. After RM is received it can be issued to first-operation machines internally (via mchdr) or sent to vendors for job work (via jobhdr).
Job Work (External)
Material sent OUT to external vendors for processing (cutting, machining, plating, etc.). jobhdr tracks 1st-operation work; job tracks 2nd-operation. Returns are received via rmjobrec1st / rmjobrec2nd. RGPs (rgphdr) track returnable items going out for repair/calibration. Aged RGPs = items still with a vendor.
Production Booking
The main production ledger. Every machine + shift + lot + operation produces a row here with accepted/rejected/scrap quantities. Linked back to material issues via issueno (joins to pmchdr2 / mchdr). Tracks lotno, sublotno, heatno for traceability and irno for the inspection report.
Stage Progress
Per-stage acceptance ledger. As each lot moves through operations (rough-turn, fine-turn, grind, polish, etc.), itemstagewise records the accepted quantity at that stage. Gives operation-level WIP visibility — the truest picture of where material physically sits.
Quality / QC
Quality inspections and rejections. goodreceipt is the formal inspection ledger (by lotno). onlinerej_hdr captures in-process rejections during production. rejaccept_hdr records customer returns that were accepted back. Failed lots can re-enter production via rework (rwflag in product1).
Dispatch Advice
Pre-shipment dispatch advice — the document generated when a lot is staged for delivery to the customer. despadvicedtl carries the lotno, partno, and quantity per line. An advice typically becomes an invoice within 1–2 days.
Invoiced & Shipped
Final dispatch — invoice issued to the customer. invhdr is the header, invdtl the line items, invlotdetail provides per-lot traceability (lotno + HeatNo). This is the endpoint of the chain: from here you can trace ANY shipped piece back through production to the original RM heat.
